About The Job

We seek a talented JavaScript Developer to join our Web SDK team at Evinced. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our accessibility testing SDKs, focusing on creating tools that enhance web accessibility for developers worldwide.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain JavaScript Node.js SDKs for web accessibility testing, including libraries for Webdriver.io, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Extend the functionality of supported frameworks to enhance testing capabilities.
• Collaborate on harmonizing SDK frameworks for consistency across different tools.
• Design and develop new SDKs to expand the accessibility testing engine's reach.
• Optimize SDK performance, maintainability, and usability.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in JavaScript, web development, and accessibility technologies.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the surrounding ecosystem.
• Proven experience with test automation frameworks (Webdriver.io, Cypress, Playwright).
• Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation).
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Rollup, Parcel).
• Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub).
• Expertise in cross-browser compatibility testing and debugging.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI).

Nice To Have

• Understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines (WCAG, WAI-ARIA).
• Familiarity with TypeScript in SDK development.
